The painting "1949-A-No. 1", from the abstract expressionist painter Clyfford Still, was sold Wednesday at auction at Sotheby's in New York, for 61.7 million dollars, a record for a work by that artist north American. At the same auction, there was also been sold three other works from Still, namely "1947-Y-In. 2" by 31.4 million dollars, "PH-1033" for 19.6 million dollars and "PH-351" for 1, 24 million dollars.
