With two decades of experience in the tourism, hospitality and real estate management sectors, Artur brings a high-level of customer service and business acumen unequalled in the region.
After studying hospitality management at university, Artur completed executive training for the Accor Hotel Group before becoming General Manager at 3 of their Ibis Hotel locations (Setubal; Oeiras and Faro). Here he honed his service and people management skills. After a successful five year run, Accor appointed Artur as Marketing & Sales Director for Novotel Portugal.
Artur’s foray into the active Algarve real estate market began when he was named Director of Marketing & Sales for Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort. During his Five-year tenure, Artur supervised a team responsible for selling 120 Million Euros of properties at the popular and exclusive development. During this period Artur obtained is MBA (General Management) degree at university.
In 2003, with significant experience in hand and a desire to build his own business, Artur created Atlantic Estates Mediação Imobiliaria. Based in Vilamoura, and with additional offices in Lagoa, Almancil, Tavira, Cascais and Óbidos, his network of estate agency offices provided expert service assisting clients with buying and selling property in the most popular resort locations of Portugal. In 2008, Artur rebranded Atlantic Estates, becoming a boutique agency specializing in fine designer homes and offering customized client services.
Other activities complimenting Artur’s career include a partnership in a construction management company, and consulting on numerous large-scale property development opportunities. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and French and has good knowledge of Spanish
When not in the office, Artur is usually on a surf board, competing against his three sons for the best wave.
